Jimi Hendrix

JIMI HENDRIX - VALLEYS OF NEPTUNE Hendrix's 40-year-old album called 'Valleys of Neptune' is set to release on 8th March. The album, a 12-track collection of Hendrix's unreleased music, was put together by "The Experience Hendrix Group" run by his sister Janie. Ten recordings were made between February and May 1969 as The Jimi Hendrix Experience set out to create their sequel to the groundbreaking "Electric Ladyland". Most of these songs are taken from these last recording sessions. This album features over 60 minutes of unheard Hendrix. The title track "Valleys Of Neptune" is one of the most sought after of all Hendrix's commercially unavailable recordings. This album also includes exciting 1969 arrangements of classic signature songs "Red House", " Fire" and "Stone Free" and studio versions of Hendrix's interpretations of Elmore James' " Bleeding Heart" and Creams "Sunshine Of Your Love".
